Un chat à la fenêtre

Pourquoi les chats attendent aux fenêtres est le titre d’une chanson de Christian Djohossou, dit Le R, paru en 2014 sur l’album Cœur de pion. Christian m’avait alors invité à créer une mélodie au saxophone pour cette pièce.

Ici, c’est sur une rythmique de Dominique Saint-Pierre, appuyée par la basse électrique et l’harmonica de Normand Glaude, et dans une toute autre ambiance que je reprends ma mélodie.

Mentionnons que ma mélodie créée en 2014 pour l’album Cœur de pion a été enregistrée sur la rue Carillon, celle-là même du titre de l’album Hannah-Carillon.

Et en 2020 ne sommes-nous pas tous devenus des chats aux fenêtres ?

A Cat in the Window

Pourquoi les chats attendent aux fenêtres is the title of a song by Christian Djohossou, known as Le R, released in 2014 on the album Cœur de pion. Christian then invited me to create a saxophone melody for this piece.

Here, it is on a beat of Dominique Saint-Pierre, supported by the electric bass and harmonica of Normand Glaude, and in a very different atmosphere that I replay my melody.

It should be noted that my melody created in 2014 for the album Cœur de pion was recorded on Carillon Street, a few steps from the street corner which is the title of my album Hannah-Carillon.

And in 2020 did we not all become cats in the windows?
